Man charged after dying of six-year-old in Gippsland buggy rollover

A person has been charged after the dying of a six-year-old woman when a buggy she and 6 different kids have been touring on rolled into Gippsland on Saturday.

Damien Gibson, 33 of Rosedale, 25 kilometers east of Traralgon, has been charged with misconduct, harmful driving inflicting dying, rash driving endangering life and inflicting damage by recklessness.

Police allege he was driving the all-terrain buggy when he drove right into a paddock in Rosedale simply after 4 p.m.

The six-year-old was airlifted to Royal Children’s Hospital with life-threatening accidents, however later died.

Five different kids have been assessed by paramedics and brought to hospital with non-life threatening accidents.

According to Victoria Ambulance, a 33-year-old man sustained an arm damage and was transported to Latrobe Regional Hospital by ambulance in secure situation.
